Duck Pond

I went for a walk with Ginga and BooBoo in the park. It happened to be sunset and the park looked beautiful so I tried to take photos of it using a point and shoot camera while controlling a dog who was trying to run after rabbits, field mice, squirrels. The difficulty of this task should not be underestimated ;) anyone have a digital slr they're going to throw away? I could use one...

Thanks Anali! it was very difficult to get but due to my recent introduction to the use of taking continuous photos (4-5) of the same scene I found at least one that worked.

Good job with taking the pictures. Love the last one of Ginga looking at the sunset :)

What would he have done if he had one SLR camera more and one dog less?

brr...wonderfully done, dude!

amrita Thanks! that was the one photo that I modded with photoshop to give a watercolour painting effect. I really expected it to be very shaky but got it ok.

criz Thanks! probably would have more photos to brag (=blog) about in that case. I like your swami greekananda photo a lot actually.

thanks sheetal... any chance of posting your sunset pictures somewhere? I'll take a look at your post soon, but yeah sometimes it's annoying when some obvious desi comes up with an anglicised name... half the time I'm dying to tell them that I can pronounce their real name properly... did you watch American Desi ? It was this american indian movie that came out a few years ago... hilarious film. goes into this issue a little.

Beautiful photos. I especially love the light in that first one.

I took two versions of it, one with and one without flash... the with flash worked out really well so I posted that one. It was a good learning experience with the point n shoot.
