JFK, blown away, what else do I have to say?

"X" marks the spot where the car was when the bullets hit... the infamous "grassy knoll" in the background.

The building has been turned into a museum with the room kept as it was after the investigation... I like how the Americans make sure that people know their history well. Something that we could learn from them that would be useful for our future.

Yeah, this is an especially remembered part of American history because much was expected of the young president.

sree - For some reason the guy left a huge impression on the USA even though he had lots of extra-curricular activities as president. I usually compare the Kennedys to our Gandhis (Indira etc.) Both have a history of getting killed doing random things - JFK and his brother - assasination like Indira and Rajiv, The other Kennedy and Sanjiv by plane crash while piloting their own plane. The only question I have is who is the Marilyn Monroe of the Gandhis?

crizzie - hey thanks, I liked your greek letter blog too. I haven't come up with anything for the mallu blog in some time, should make up something for it. The setup wasn't very hard, took me about 20 minutes. Just downloaded a template off the internet and changed the relevant areas to malayalam. It's not too hard, and the community is always looking for more bloggers in malayalam if you are interested. One of the perks is that you might randomly get mentioned in India Today mallu edition :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Wow, pretty interesting comparison between the Kennedys and Gandhis - getting killed doing random things. Pretty deep. You may be onto something here...

It is an odd coincidence. Now the question is, would people rather be safe and poor for a long time or rich and powerful for a short time before going down in a blaze of glory?
